A Reading: the Magic of Imagery

A Reading: the Magic of Imagery

For those of you who understand Seeing as a 7th Sense strength already understand the title.  For those unfamiliar with 7th Sense strengths, read up on them in the appropriate section – 7th Sense Sensing Zones.

I was doing a reading for a client earlier today and we had a fun and curious time!

Often, I receive my messages and information from the Universe in a variety of ways (like words, sounds, feelings, sensations o just curious thoughts) but today it was all in imagery.  I always begin in the same fashion, I ask for permission and then I open up to what the Universe wishes to show me and today it was rich!

I saw myself floating in the air and off to my right was an invisible jet and a woman sitting in it as a passenger.  I flew closer to the jet because I knew more clarity would be gained that way and I could see everything.  She was seated, surrounded by stacks of books and she was frantically reading.  Her feet were shuffling back and forth as if she were wearing grooves into the carpeting.  Repeatedly, she would look around as i distracted or looking for something and then after a time, she’d come back to the books.

Toward the rear of the jet I saw 2 men sitting patiently and enjoying the ride.  I took these to be suitors awaiting her attention; in the reading and in life!

After taking in this entire image, I wanted to interpret it for her.  I took away from it that at this time in her life she is predominantly feeling paradoxically focused and distracted at the same time.  To which she said, “Absolutely!  No one understands it, but this is exactly why I called you.”  The jet was her career, seemingly on autopilot heading in the right direction.  The suitors, unfortunately, no clarifying information came from them.

Then she asked about two of her current projects and before she could finish her question, I immediately saw myself on the greens of a racetrack looking towards the starting line.  I saw my client at the pedestal by the starting lights already waving her starting flag.  Then out from the garages came two beautiful racecars emblazoned with the two project’s names.  They rolled up to the starting line as the starting lights changed from red, to yellow, then green.  My client blew a siren and frantically waved her flag, but the cars did not move.

She screamed and waved for them to go but nothing.  I looked closer and noticed they had no drivers; in either of the cars.  I took this to mean that she had done great work in preparing them to launch, they have launched (out of the garage) and she wishes for them to take-off but they’re essentially not moving.  “At this moment” she said, that’s exactly what’s happening, or not happening.”

So we then worked on possible solutions to find the right drivers and this is where we tapped into the richness.  She had actually run into just the right candidates and another vision confirmed it!

Finally, no reading would be complete without a question about relationships or a relationship, and so she asked about the outlook of her love life.  Just then, a curious picture developed in my mind.

I saw my client in a cafe, a type you could easily find in Europe, like Paris and it was filled with people.  She was seated on a banquette facing the interior of the cafe.  To her left was a party of six women celebrating a special event and to her right was a couple, enjoying a romantic dinner.  My client had ordered wine and the waiter poured her a glass.  She sipped from her glass and instantly made a face as if the wine was bitter and foul.  However (and this is the critical part), she kept sipping it until an entire glass was consumed.

She then poured another, seemingly ignoring the wine’s bitterness yet still tasting the bitterness.  As if she was doubting her own perceptions of the wine.  You’d think she’d stop there but no, she turned to the party of women and asked them their opinion of the wine and they too reacted the same way — the wine was bitter and foul — they recommended she tell the waiter.  But she didn’t.  Instead, she turned to the romantic couple and they too sampled, reacted badly and assured her it was bad, bitter wine.  Did she stop then?  NO!  She kept sipping it and put a smile on her face.

Interpreting this was simple and clear to me but I didn’t know how my client would take it.  I told her than in my vision she did not trust her own judgment in a mate (the wine represented men) and specifically, men.  Her distrust in herself was so great that she sought others’ opinions above her own and yet, still suffered through bad men or bad relationships.  To this my client confirmed with a sigh.  She then naturally asked what to do about this.  She wanted to make sure that she wouldn’t miss out on the two men on the jet.  She wouldn’t, they were already en route!

Luckily, I’ve learned that visions do not only carry insight into an issue but the solution as well.  In order for her to attract a great mate, she would have to increase her confidence in her perceptions and judgments.  If she doesn’t like the bitter wine, declare it and request something better.  Now this, she could definitely do and she committed to doing so.  She’s promised to contact me when her suitors show up.

I love how clearly the Universe presents me with the answers my clients most need to hear.  Its reassuring to know that we’re never alone in anything we must go through and in anything we choose to create.  I love the Universe and I send you all many blessings.  enjoy!
